Diane -35 is to be taken regularly to achieve the therapeutic efficacy and the required contraceptive protection. Previously used hormonal contraception should be discontinued. The dose regimen of this pill is similar to the usual regimen of most of the combined oral contraceptives. Thus, the same administrative rules must be considered. Combined oral contraceptives, when taken a right, have a failure rate of around one percent per year. The irregular intake of this medication can lead to intermenstrual bleedings and could deteriorate the therapeutic and contraceptive reliability.
The use depends on the severity of the symptoms of androgenization and their response to therapy. As a rule, treatment ought to be done more than a while.
